It is recommended that the Christian faithful pray to God at least twice each day in the morning on rising, and in the evening again before sleep.
Where it is possible, it is a good practice to say quick and short prayers during the day. If tempted to sin, make the sign of the Cross and say a quick prayer: “Lord, save me, or I perish” or something similar. If you have done some wrong, ask God to forgive you, for He sits on a throne of grace ready to dispense His love to all who ask for it.

We pray you, Lord, to prompt our actions by your inspiration and to forward them by your help, so that every prayer and work of ours may begin and end in you. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
Adorn my heart and my hands with power and virtue, Lord; and surround me with the seven sanctifying gifts of your Holy Spirit. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
Bless us, Lord, and these your gifts which we are about to receive by your goodness, through Christ our Lord. Amen.
We thank you almighty God, for all that we have received, you who live and reign for ever and ever. Amen.
